Premium Farali Fasting Thali
Fasting Mains
- Breads: 4-6 Rajgira Puris or Bhakri (Gluten-free Amaranth flour deep-fried in sunflower oil).
- Sabji: 150g Suran Kand Mix Veg (Yam & Purple Yam) or Aloo Sukha Bhaji (Dry Potato).
- Side: 100g Sing Usal (Peanut curry) or Jeera Bhindi.
Rice & Farsan
- Khichdi: 150g Sabudana Khichdi (Sago pearls with crushed peanuts).
- Snack: 2 pcs Sabudana Vada (Crispy sago fritters) with Farali Dahi Chutney.
Sweet & Essentials
- Dessert: 80-100ml Homemade Shrikhand, Basundi, or Sabudana Kheer.
- Preparation: Strictly prepared using Rock Salt (Sendha Namak) and pure ghee/oil.

- Patra: Steamed Colocasia leaves rolled with spicy gram flour paste and tempered.
- Khandvi: Delicate gram flour and buttermilk rolls with coconut garnish.

Festivals Without Food Stress
We keep things simple. All our food is homemade, 100% veg, and cooked with pure ghee or sunflower oil. It’s the kind of taste that reminds you of your own kitchen, especially if you love Gujarati flavours.
Menus for Every Festival
- For fasting days like Shivaratri and Shravan, I do proper farali fasting thali - think Rajgira Poori, Sabudana Khichdi, special sabjis, and sweets like Srikhand. All made with rock salt, as per tradition.
- Uttrayan means winter cravings - you’ll get our famous homemade winter undhiyu, hot patra, lilwa kachori, plus Gajar Halwa and melt-in-mouth jalebis.
- On Holi, I handle the snacks and drinks so you just do masti. Traditional Holi snacks like Pav Bhaji, Dabeli, Gujiya, and cooling Thandai are on the menu.
- Raksha Bandhan is all about mithai - we roll out a big sweet spread. Srikhand, Basundi, Kaju Katli, and even sugar-free ladoos.
Seasonal Hits
- In winter, our Surti Undhiyu is a must-try. If you’re a Gujarati in Bangalore, you know the craving.
- Come summer, my pure Hapus aam ras (no mixing, just Alphonso mango) is the real deal.
- For New Year or Christmas, I do party snacks - burgers, sandwiches, milkshakes.

I make everything fresh, so pre-booking is a must. Some things have a minimum order size. Delivery is across Rajajinagar and nearby, charges extra.

My Story
Namaste! We’re the Mody family, running Ice & Spice with all our heart. For us, food is about bringing people together, especially during festivals like Holi or Shivaratri. We started this in Bangalore because we missed our Gujarati ghar ka khana (homemade food). Our Surti Undhiyu is a crowd favorite. We want you to be kitchen-free and just enjoy your moments—leave the cooking headache to us.
