Enjoy authentic, comfort food that tastes like home. Freshly prepared, low-oil lunch parcels and traditional weekend meals, cooked just like Maa makes them.

This is my homestyle vegetarian lunch parcel, prepared with less oil and balanced spices, just like a mother would make. It includes steamed rice, dal, a vegetable curry, and a side dish, all packed fresh for you.

This is a look at my homestyle non-vegetarian lunch parcel. Prepared with less oil and fresh ingredients, it typically includes rice, a flavorful fish or chicken curry, and two vegetable side dishes, just like a comforting meal at home.

A closer look at the components of my non-veg meal. You can see the perfectly cooked mound of rice ready to be served with the accompanying curries, all made fresh to order.

This is my authentic Pakhala Thali, a cherished meal from Odisha that I prepare for special occasions. It features fermented rice (Pakhala) served with an array of traditional side dishes like fried fish, various vegetable fries (bhaja), and chutneys.

A graphic celebrating Pakhala Dibasa, a day dedicated to this iconic Odia dish. It’s more than just food; it’s an emotion and a tradition that I am passionate about preserving and sharing.

This image highlights the different elements that make up a Pakhala meal. It's a day to celebrate our culture and pass on our traditions to the next generation, one delicious bite at a time.

About Homestyle Lunch & Weekend Meals

Because I prepare every meal from scratch using traditional family recipes, I request a 24-hour lead time for your orders. This allows me to source the freshest ingredients and cook your lunch—whether it is a weekday vegetable thali or a weekend Khasi mutton curry—without cutting corners or relying on pre-made bases.

Finding food in Bangalore that hits the specific, comforting notes of home—without being overly oily or heavily spiced—can be a challenge. My kitchen focuses on the simple, soul-warming meals that form the backbone of Odia cuisine.

My weekday lunch parcels are designed for people who want a clean, home-cooked meal in the middle of a busy workday. The vegetable thali includes the essentials: light, comforting dalma, fresh seasonal vegetables, and steamed rice, all prepared with minimal oil.

On weekends, I shift focus to special treats that require more time and patience. The Khasi mutton curry is a highlight, slow-cooked with fresh ginger, garlic, and onions to get that deep, rich flavor that pairs perfectly with warm rice. For special occasions or traditional celebrations, I also prepare authentic Pakhala (fermented rice), a dish that is deeply connected to our culture.

Since everything is made to order in my Koramangala kitchen, I do not keep large batches ready. This ensures that when you receive your meal, it is as fresh as if it came off my own stove. If you have specific dietary preferences or need a larger order for a gathering, please reach out a day or two in advance. I am always happy to adjust spice levels or customize the thali to better suit your needs.
