Signature Hand-Sculpted Ceramic Art
Each piece here has its own kahani—a story born from slow, thoughtful making. I don’t chase perfection; I let the clay guide me through every fold and firing, creating one-of-a-kind art for your home.
This pitcher is a celebration of glaze chemistry. I layered five different Amaco glazes to create this incredible, iridescent effect with flashes of blue, purple, and gold. The video shows how the light catches the rich, flowing colors.
A wheel-thrown mug featuring a slithering snake and a helping hand, created using the sgraffito technique. I love how the bold red and sparkling details contrast with the natural clay body, telling a little story with every sip.
For the love of Ghibli, this mug is for you. I created this unique periwinkle blue clay by adding cobalt and iron oxide, then hand-painted my favorite soot sprites. This piece is a perfect example of the custom, whimsical commissions I love to create.
This little bird whistle, or 'pajarito', is pure joy. It’s such a delight to create something that not only looks beautiful but also makes a sweet, singing sound. Here, you can see and hear the magic it holds.
I was honored to design these ceramic souvenirs for the legendary James Ferreira, capturing the essence of Khotachiwadi. Each pin and magnet is inspired by the area's unique architecture, history, and, of course, its charming cats.
A little preview of the new, whimsical pieces I prepared for the Kanoria Art Centre festival. From tiny miniatures to patterned mugs and candle holders, each piece is handmade with love and ready to find a new home.
A quiet moment with some of my new creations, getting a final inspection from Silky, our studio supervisor. This collection, featuring a variety of mugs and a sugar pot, will be available at the upcoming Potters Fest in Ahmedabad.
A close-up of the incredible glaze on my new pitcher. Look at the way the colors melt and flow into each other, creating a surface that feels alive. This is the unpredictable magic that happens inside the kiln.
An overhead view of my multi-glazed pitcher, showing the rich texture and the way the colors pool inside the carved lines. The spout and handle are carefully sculpted to be both beautiful and functional.
Another angle of my favorite pitcher, highlighting the shape of the handle and the drips of glaze. These little imperfections are what make each handmade piece truly unique and full of character.
About My Signature Creations
These pieces are the result of slow, thoughtful making—from the wheel-thrown base to the intricate glazing. I never replicate a design exactly, so every item you see here is truly one of a kind. Please keep in mind that because of the drying, bisque firing, and glaze firing cycles, custom commissions typically take between 4 and 10 weeks to create.
Every item in this collection carries its own kahani (story). My work is defined by the techniques I love, like the Sgraffito method for etching stories into clay or the Nerikomi process for swirling colored clay into the body itself. I do not aim for a factory-perfect finish. If you see a slight drip of glaze or an uneven edge, know that is where the soul of the piece lives. I source my stoneware from Bangalore and use premium, layered glazes to create the deep, shifting colors you see in my pitchers and vases. Whether you want a mug that feels like a childhood memory or a large statement vase for your living room, we can dream it up together. I also enjoy working on specific, small-scale commissions, such as the custom souvenirs I created to capture the architecture and history of Khotachiwadi. Let me know what you are looking for, and we can start from a simple, humble lump of mitti to build something that feels like yours.
