About Global Tours & Event Announcements

When you are planning a live event, whether it is a heritage festival or a private gathering, the technical setup is just as important as the music itself. From the resonance of my Rikhi Ram sitar to the acoustics of the venue, I prioritize a sound check at least 60 minutes before the performance to ensure the blend between the sitar and the tabla or fusion instruments is perfect for your specific space.

My performance calendar takes me from the sacred grounds of the Sankat Mochan Mandir in Varanasi, where music is an offering of bhakti, to modern stages like the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre in Mumbai. I believe every venue demands a different conversation with the audience. For classical recitals, I stick to the sanctity of Hindustani ragas, carefully selected according to the time of day, or prahar. If you are hosting a larger event, my band Araj brings a neo-classical fusion approach, incorporating tabla, flute, and western elements to create a more dynamic, energetic atmosphere. I have performed at historic locations like the Alipore Museum and international venues in Singapore, and I am comfortable adapting my setup to suit your needs. Whether you require a quiet, solo meditative session or a full ensemble production for a corporate gala, I bring the same dedication to the craft. My team handles the production details, including the sound engineering requirements for fusion sets, to make the booking process seamless for you.
