About Live Music for Private & Corporate Events
What Music Means to Me
Music is my way of praying, offering, and connecting. I mix the deep roots of Indian classical with a bit of modern tadka (twist), so every note feels alive. Whether it's a shaam ki mehfil (evening gathering) or a big corporate party, I want my music to add some real magic.
What to Expect
My gigs aren't just background noise. I play with feeling, mixing soft, soulful tunes with groovy, high-energy moments. Bit of masti (fun) and light banter is always part of the show - I love getting the audience involved.
How I Set the Mood
- Solo Sitar: Perfect for smaller gatherings or when you want that classy, calming vibe.
- Sitar & Vocal Duo: My vocals with sitar and tabla, great for ghazal nights or intimate dinners.
- Full Band Fusion: This is my big act - sitar, tabla, drums, keyboard, electric guitar, violin. We mix Indian classical with jazz, rock, and pop. If you want the music to be the main event, this is it.
My Musical Range
- Indian fusion band for events: From classic ragas and bhajans to Bollywood instrumental band style mashups.
- I reimagine Western hits (think Justin Bieber, Imagine Dragons) on sitar.
- Timeless Bollywood, ghazals, and folk - all get my own twist.
Where My Music Fits
- Corporate event music entertainment: Product launches, awards, gala dinners - I know how to set the right mood.
- Private parties, weddings, Diwali or Holi - I’ve played them all.
I’m based in Mumbai and Delhi but travel wherever music takes me. If you want something special for your next event, let’s talk.

My Story
Music's in my blood. I grew up playing my dad’s tunes at parties where folks barely listened, but I always felt it. Years later, I got to play that same piece on stage—this time, people really heard it. Ustad Z, Zakir Hussain, shaped my path. Waiting for Guru Purnima just to see him, pure magic. Now, whether I’m in Delhi or by Lake Geneva, my sitar’s always with me. Sometimes it’s Mozart, sometimes a raga—music follows me everywhere.
My Work
Sitar & Vocal Performances - I do solo and group shows, from Indian classical sitar gigs to fusion sitar jazz, bhakti sangeet, and private events.
Signature Style - My thing? Mixing tradition with blues, jazz, and a bit of rock. I call it the Mehtab Ali Niazi Experience.
Ensemble Magic - I jam with tabla, violin, drums, and more. Every show’s a fresh ensemble music experience.
For the Love of Music - I play for anyone who wants to feel—quiet morning ragas, high-energy contemporary raga fusion, or temple bhakti.
