Flexibility and Conditioning Training for Kids
Strengthening muscles and improving flexibility is the foundation of every great gymnast. We make the hard work feel like play through our movement-based conditioning programs.
Three of our students perfectly synchronized in their splits. This image not only shows incredible flexibility but also the camaraderie and shared passion within our classes.
This young gymnast holds an impressive camel pose, demonstrating excellent back flexibility and control. Poses like these are a regular part of our conditioning and stretching routines.

Here I am assisting a student with his camel pose to ensure he achieves a deep, safe stretch. Proper guidance is key to helping kids improve their flexibility without straining.

About Flexibility & Conditioning
I do not just ask kids to touch their toes. We build flexibility through obstacle courses and play. By using hula hoops, foam blocks, and dedicated manual spotting, we help kids gain strength and range of motion safely, so they actually enjoy the process instead of dreading the stretch.
Conditioning is the unsung hero of gymnastics. It is what keeps our students injury-free and helps them master complex moves, from basic bridges to advanced flips. At MDFC, we break this down into age-appropriate stages.
Our Approach to Conditioning
For our younger students, flexibility is improved through fun drills. We use colorful mats and props to make stretches like the butterfly or pike feel like part of a game. For kids aged 5 and up, we add more structure. This includes core strengthening exercises, intensive warm-ups, and repetitive drills for splits and back flexibility. We do not rush this. We believe in building a solid physical foundation before moving on to harder acrobatic skills.
Safety First
I am very hands-on with every student. Whether we are in our air-conditioned studio in Sector 45 or conducting an at-home session in Delhi or Gurgaon, safety is the priority. We use high-density EVA mats for all floor work. My spotting technique is always gentle and supportive, ensuring your child pushes their limits only when they are ready.
How to Get Started
We offer group batches for peer motivation and private at-home coaching for focused, accelerated learning. If you are unsure where your child fits, we can discuss their current strength and goals. Whether they are toddlers finding their rhythm or older kids working on their back handsprings, we have a path for them.
