Gymnastics is so much more than just flips and tumbles. For kids aged 5 and up, it is the perfect way to build core strength, flexibility, and real confidence. We turn every session into a fun, structured challenge.

Our 5+ years group class in action. These students are mastering their straddle splits, a key flexibility skill. We hold these classes at our Sector 45 studio every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 6-7 PM.

About Foundational Gymnastics (Ages 5+)

We keep our group batches small so that every child gets proper hands-on spotting during inversions and cartwheels. It is not just about teaching a move; it is about ensuring they understand how to use their body weight safely, using 4-6 inch crash mats for every single tumble.

Our program for kids 5 and above is designed to move beyond the basics of play and into the mechanics of proper gymnastics. We meet 3 days a week, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, to ensure consistent practice, which is key for developing muscle memory in young gymnasts.

What We Cover

We start with fundamental floor work including cartwheels, round-offs, and handstands. The sessions also include intensive conditioning, working on front and side splits and core strength to prevent injuries. As the children get comfortable, we introduce tumbling basics like front flips and back handsprings, always using 4-6 inch heavy-duty crash mats for protection.

Our Approach

Gymnastics here is not just about the mat. It is about building focus and body awareness. We use group dynamics to keep energy high, which helps kids push past that initial hesitation when learning a new trick. Whether it is a wall-assisted handstand or a bridge, we provide continuous spotting for every repetition.
