Master Boxing Fundamentals and Technique in Vashi
Real boxing isn't just about hitting a bag. It starts with your stance, guard, and footwork. See how we build a strong foundation for every student.
*Basic bahut zaroori hai*. I always tell my students that without strong fundamentals, you can't win fights. Here, I am explaining the importance of proper guard, footwork, and balance to a beginner's class.
I see many beginners making the same errors. This video shows common mistakes like dropping your hands or slapping with hooks, and how we correct them. Learning the right form from day one is my focus.
There are four main punches in boxing. This video breaks down the power punch, speed punch, and technique punch on the heavy bag. Each punch has a purpose, and we drill them until they become second nature.
Once you have the basic punches, we learn to put them together. This video demonstrates five essential punch combinations, like the jab-straight right and the uppercut combos, that are effective in sparring and competition.
Power comes from the whole body, not just the arms. I am showing my students how to use their legs and core to generate force in a simple one-two punch. This is key for developing real knockout power.
Want to increase your punching power? It's not just about hitting the bag. This video covers four tips, including core exercises like Indian pushups, that build the functional strength you need for explosive punches.
Safety is the first priority. My students demonstrate the essential boxing equipment we use, including hand wraps for wrist protection, headgear for sparring, and a mouthguard to protect your teeth and gums.
About this collection
Many people think boxing is just about punching, but here, we fix your stance and guard before you ever hit a heavy bag. If your elbow is wide or you slap with your hooks, we correct that immediately. We use Indian pushups and floor drills to build functional strength instead of fancy gym equipment, ensuring every punch you throw has real power behind it.
Why Your Foundation Matters
In this sport, you don't start by swinging wildly. Whether you are aiming for fitness or competitive boxing, your stance is the difference between balance and getting knocked off your feet. I see students dropping their hands or slapping with their hooks every day. We stop that on day one.
Our Training Methodology
We don't use fancy gym equipment. We use the floor and your own body. Our technique relies on Indian pushups and specific core drills to build the functional strength required for explosive power.
Mastering the Four Punches
We drill the four basic punches until they become muscle memory:
- The Jab: Your setup to control the distance.
- The Cross: Your power punch from the back hand.
- The Hook: Your accuracy and impact.
- The Uppercut: Your finisher. We teach you to rotate your hips and feet, not just your arms. Real power comes from the ground up, not just your shoulders.
Safety and Gear
You cannot train hard if you are injured. We emphasize hand wraps for wrist protection, mouthguards, and headgear during sparring. This is how we keep you training consistently. You are here to learn the skill, not get hurt because of poor technique.
