Inside the Ring: Pad Work & Sparring
This is where the real training happens. We move past the basics and get into the ring for one-on-one pad work and controlled sparring, building your fight IQ and precision under pressure.
In the ring, we drill together as a team. I guide my students through punching combinations, making sure everyone's technique is sharp. This is how we prepare for a real fight.
One on one pad work with a female student in the ring. I teach her how to throw punches with power and precision. Strength knows no gender here.
A proper sparring session between two of my boxers. This is where they apply everything they have learned. It is about technique, timing, and heart.
Slow motion pad work shows the details of the punch. You can see the technique, the impact, and the connection between the boxer and the coach.
Training with national level boxers. The intensity is high, and the focus is sharp. This is the level of dedication you will find at my academy.
Monday is not a silent day here. The sound of gloves hitting the pads is the sound of progress. We start the week strong.
Even celebrities come here to train and learn the art of boxing. Here I am wrapping the hands of Temptations Island star Tayne De Villiers before a session in the ring.
About this collection
Sparring is not about hurting each other, it is about reaction time. When you step into the ring for pad work, I focus on your precision, rhythm, and guard. You will learn to slip punches and counter accurately, which is how you actually build fight confidence. This is where you see if your training holds up under pressure.
Boxing is a science. Many gyms teach you how to hit a stationary bag, but real skill is developed when you have a moving target. In our pad work sessions, I work one-on-one with you to refine your jab, cross, hook, and uppercut combinations. We do not just throw punches, we teach you how to set them up, how to maintain your stance under stress, and how to control your breathing.
Building Fight IQ Through Sparring
For those ready to level up, we conduct controlled sparring. It is safe, supervised, and strictly about technique. You will learn how to read an opponent, manage distance, and defend yourself against an incoming attack. We use drills like the side left hook to handle aggressive fighters, ensuring you know how to react instinctively.
Why Train at MCBA?
We are not a fitness studio that happens to have a ring. We are a dedicated boxing academy in Vashi. We avoid AC to keep the training raw, authentic, and focused on building mental toughness. Whether you are training for a state-level bout or just want to get lean and sharp, our facility provides the environment you need. When you step into our ring, you are training with someone who has actually been in the arena 157 times.
Marine Centre Boxing Academy
I am Siddharth Varma. I have fought 157 times, from state levels to the World Series of Boxing. I do not believe in theory and reels; I believe in the sweat you leave on this mat. My goal is to make you a champion, not just in the ring, but in how you handle challenges outside of it.
