Real martial arts training starts with respect. This is how we honor the ancient lineage of Muay Thai at our gym in Vidyaranyapura.

Happy birthday to my godfather, Grand Master Woody. Here I am receiving his blessings. The respect for the guru is the most important lesson in martial arts.

With my godfather and godman, Grand Master Woody. He is my strength and support. The background painting reflects the spiritual depth of our art.

With my master, Grand Master Woody, during a traditional ceremony. I am honored to learn from and stand by a legend of Muay Thai.

I begin our training sessions with a puja, offering prayers and seeking blessings. Our strength comes from our discipline and our faith.

A moment of quiet in the gym. The saffron shawl is a symbol of my faith and a reminder of the spiritual path that I walk.

I perform a puja in front of the gods in our gym. We honor our faith and seek blessings for our training and our fighters.

"Everything is at your feet." I perform a puja, offering everything to the divine. This is the source of our gym's spirit.

About this collection

Before a single punch is thrown, we begin with a puja. My gym is not just a place to burn calories. It is a space for discipline and tradition. We train with the understanding that we are part of a long, sacred lineage that requires absolute respect for our teachers and ourselves.

Martial arts is more than just fighting. It is a way of life. At Thunder Martial Arts in Vidyaranyapura, we prioritize the Guru-Shishya (teacher-student) bond above everything else.

The Sacred Ring

We treat the ring as a temple. When you walk in, you leave your ego at the door. We perform Wai Kru, the traditional ritual of respect, to honor the art and the masters who came before us. This is not for show. It grounds us and prepares the mind for the intensity of the workout that follows.

Why Tradition Matters

Many people want the fitness benefits of Muay Thai without the discipline. That is not how we operate. By following the lineage of our teachers, we instill patience, humility, and mental toughness. Whether we are drilling basic footwork or advanced Muay Boran techniques, every movement is guided by the lessons passed down from my mentors.

A Space for Growth

Our facility in Vidyaranyapura is designed for real work. We use traditional conditioning methods, but the core of our strength comes from our roots. You will find that training here challenges you not just physically, but mentally. You are not just learning to throw strikes. You are learning to respect the art, your partners, and your own journey as a student and a fighter.
