Martial Arts Training and Fight Techniques
Size does not matter in the ring; technique is everything. We don't train for simple fitness, we train to build fighters. Look at the grind behind the results at Thunder Martial Arts.

About this collection
In these clips, watch how I take down a student significantly heavier than me. That is not brute force; that is leverage. At Thunder Martial Arts, we prioritize technical fundamentals—how you hold your grip, where you place your feet, and how you use your core. You cannot cheat the process, and we do not skip these basics. Every session here is live and hands-on, because that is the only way you build real ring intelligence.
The Thunder Way
We are not a commercial gym with air conditioning and fancy mirrors. This is a training ground. We operate in a naturally ventilated space in Vidyaranyapura because endurance is built in the heat, not in a climate-controlled room. Our culture is built on the Guru-Shishya tradition. We train barefoot, we start with respect, and we work until the technique is ingrained in your muscle memory.
Why We Focus on Technique
You will notice we spend as much time on the clinch and the ground game as we do on striking. A fight rarely stays in one place. Whether it is Muay Thai, boxing, or BJJ, we break down every move—from the rotation of your hip in a kick to the anchor points in a takedown. If your form is weak, you will get hurt. We fix that first.
Hardcore Conditioning
We use tractor tires, heavy bags, and traditional methods to build functional strength. You will not find machines that do the work for you here. Everything we do in the gym, from shin hardening to metabolic conditioning, is designed to prepare your body for the reality of combat. If you are looking for a place to simply lift weights or run on a treadmill, this is not it. But if you have the fire to become a fighter, you belong here.
