This is our official grading ceremony announcement. We follow the strict standards of the Kru Muaythai Association in Bangkok, ensuring your certification is recognized internationally.
The result of dedication. Our fighters celebrating their gold medals and certificates after the Bengaluru University Inter-college Boxing sports competition. Hard work pays off.
As a Kru, my role is to guide you. Here I am with one of my students after his successful grading, ready for the next level in his Muay Thai journey.
A perfect Muay Thai sweep during a sparring session. This is not just about hitting pads; it's about applying techniques effectively against an opponent to control the fight.
I lead by example. This is me working the pads, demonstrating the power, speed, and combinations I expect from my students. If I can do it, you can learn to do it.
Precision and power in a high kick drill. We focus on perfecting every movement, ensuring each strike is both technically sound and powerful enough to make an impact.
About Featured
Earning your Khan level here is not a formality. Whether you are aiming for your first white prajioud or advancing through senior levels, expect a rigorous 3 to 4 hour assessment. We test your technical application, sparring control, and conditioning, with all certifications officially issued and mailed directly from the KMA headquarters in Bangkok.
The KMA Standard
We follow the strict 10-level Khan system, exactly as it is done in Thailand. This is not about handing out badges. It is about proving your skill, knowledge, and heart in the ring. When you pass, your certification is documented in the international KMA database, making it valid no matter where your journey takes you.
What Grading Covers
Every grading is a test of your character and your technique. For the entry levels, we look for solid footwork, correct stance, and the ability to execute strikes—punches, elbows, knees, and kicks—with intent.
As you move into higher Khan levels, the requirements increase. We test:
- Forms and Demonstration: Showing the Wai Kru Ram Muay for advanced levels.
- Sparring: Demonstrating controlled, effective application against an opponent.
- Conditioning: Proving you have the endurance to sustain a fight.
