This is me in my studio. Maati Sona, which means 'soil gold', is my passion project. It's been a beautiful journey of learning and growing, and I'm so grateful for the warm response from this community.

In 2018, I started Maati Sona to prove that clay is more than just a medium; it is 'Maati Sona'—soil that is as precious as gold. My studio is built on the belief that perfect is boring. I embrace the wabi-sabi philosophy where every slight glaze drip or uneven rim tells the story of the hand that made it.
We specialize in blending modern ceramic techniques with traditional Indian motifs. You will see this in our hand-painted dinner plates and the sgraffito-carved mugs. It is not just about selling ceramics; it is about slow living. When you join a workshop or visit us, you are not just a customer; you are part of the process. I host regular sessions for beginners, couples, and friends who want to step away from the screen and feel the texture of raw clay.
