About Commercial Interior Design
What Drives Us
I see every commercial space as a living canvas, shaped by the people using it daily. Sometimes, architecture needs to step back and let nature and everyday experiences take the spotlight. My design approach is all about blending in - not standing out for the sake of it, but letting real life breathe through the spaces I create.
Hospitality Spaces That Feel Alive
- I craft restaurants, bars, and cafes to feel unique - not just look pretty for photos. Color, material, and light come together to set a mood that sticks with you.
- Nature isn't just a backdrop. Inspired by Bangalore’s garden-city charm, I bring the outside in, with plant canopies and lots of glass.
- Retro-modern fusion is my thing. Vintage curves, modern details, lots of textures - exposed brick, tinted glass, brass, granite, warm wood.
- Each spot tells its own story, whether it’s a peach-toned lounge or a lively retro bar. Hospitality mood lighting is always part of the vibe.
Corporate & Retail With Heart
- Workspaces need to feel good, not just look good. I use biophilic workspace design and soft colors for comfort.
- Adaptability matters - I design flexible office interiors with modular zones and breakout areas that change as your team does.
- Retail and sales lounges become brand storytelling interiors, with every detail reflecting your identity and building community.
How I Work
It’s always a partnership. I listen first, then shape your story into a space that grows and changes with you.

My Story
Hey, we’re M9 Design Studio, and for us, architecture isn’t just putting up walls. It’s letting nature sneak in, like Geoffrey Bawa did—quiet, blended, always changing. You’ll see bits of Kutch’s Lipan Kaam in our work, mud and mirrors telling stories. Awards are cool, sure, but what really sticks is seeing kids dancing in a space we dreamed up. That’s when a building feels alive.
My Work
What We Do - Architecture, masterplanning, interiors for homes and offices, product design inspired by traditional crafts.
Design Philosophy - Every project is a story. We want spaces to spark community and be living canvases.
Nature-Integrated Spaces - We do slow architecture—spaces that blend into landscapes, not fight them.
The 'In-Between' Spots - Courtyards, lobbies, pathways—these shared pockets are where real connections happen.
Materials We Love - Steel, brick, lime plaster, Kota stone—always picking what feels right for the space.
