Featured Architectural & Interior Design Projects
I design spaces that function as living canvases. These selected projects highlight my commitment to blending nature, local materials, and community into every commercial and hospitality environment.
This space is designed as a living garden court, where architecture steps back to let nature take center stage. I used bold black and white striped flooring to create a graphic foundation, contrasting with the organic chaos of palms, ferns, and a central bonsai, creating a space that feels both dramatic and serene.
An overhead view reveals the spatial story of the garden court, a series of interconnected seating areas nestled within the greenery. The design encourages slow, meandering experiences, with custom furniture and varied layouts offering different perspectives of the lush, biophilic interior.
For this bar area, I created a cinematic, immersive mood using a deep blue palette on paneled walls and a faceted black granite bar. The design contrasts these cool, moody tones with the warmth of tan leather seating and a canopy of hanging plants, blending retro glamour with a touch of nature.
This private lounge is wrapped in a continuous wash of peach tones, from the fluted walls to the scalloped ceiling. The design creates a soft, feminine, and cinematic calm, a quiet escape that uses monolithic color and gentle curves to shape an intimate and memorable experience.
I designed this cafe to integrate seamlessly into its community courtyard setting. The vibrant green facade and open-air verandas blur the line between the building and the surrounding trees, creating a welcoming, layered space that feels both modern and deeply rooted in its local context.
In this sales lounge, I used biophilic design to create a tranquil and engaging environment. An indoor garden bed acts as a natural divider, while frosted glass partitions and soft, lantern-like lighting create a sense of calm movement and connection to nature, even within a corporate setting.
This rendering shows my vision for a corporate recreation zone, designed to foster community and well-being. The space combines a casual food court with a tiered amphitheater for presentations or informal gatherings, using natural light and indoor plants to create a productive yet restful atmosphere.
About Featured
When I approach a design, I’m not just looking for a layout that fits; I’m looking for how the space feels throughout the day. Whether it's a hospitality project or a corporate office, I focus on the 'in-between spaces'—the corners, courtyards, and lobbies where people naturally gather—and use honest materials like Kota stone and lime plaster to ground the design in its context.
Architecture is rarely about just placing walls. In my work, I focus on creating a dialogue between the structure and the environment.
The Philosophy of Space
My design process is centered on what I call 'living canvases.' This means thinking about how a space will evolve over time. When designing a commercial venue or office, I prioritize flexibility. I use modular layouts and biophilic elements—like indoor courtyards and plant canopies—to ensure the building can adapt as your team or business needs change.
Materiality and Craft
I have a deep respect for materials that age well and tell a story. You will often see me utilizing:
- Kota Stone and IPS: Durable, tactile flooring that provides a solid foundation.
- Lime Plaster: For walls that breathe and offer soft, earthy textures.
- Metal and Glass: Used sparingly to maintain structural transparency.
By blending these with traditional techniques, like those seen in Kutch’s Lipan Kaam, I create environments that feel rooted in their location rather than generic.
From Concept to Execution
Whether it is a cafe that blurs the lines between indoor and outdoor dining or an office that encourages collaboration through tiered seating, my technical approach remains the same. I handle everything from the initial 2D space planning and 3D rendering to the Good For Construction (GFC) drawings. This ensures that the narrative we build in the concept phase is exactly what gets translated into the built reality. I am not just creating a place to sit; I am crafting a space that encourages people to linger, connect, and interact.
