Let’s be honest: getting kids to sit still and smile on command rarely works. In my studio or out on a beach, I don't force perfection. We play, we explore, and I wait for those genuine giggles and sibling hugs that happen when kids are simply being themselves. If your little one needs a break, a snack, or just some time to settle in, we take it—there is no ticking clock here.
How We Make It Real
Photography with children isn't just about the camera; it's about the energy in the room. My approach as a 'photo doula' means I prioritize safety and comfort above all else. Whether we are in my Malad West studio or outdoors, the focus is on creating a space where your kids don't feel like they're 'on set,' but rather playing in a safe environment.
The Studio Setup
If you choose a studio session, we work in a controlled, private, and air-conditioned space. It’s perfect for milestone shoots or capturing those tiny details. I have a dedicated wardrobe for children aged 0 to 5, so you don't need to stress about sourcing outfits for every look. We use soft, professional lighting and safe props to create timeless images. With a dedicated safety assistant on hand, you can relax, sit back, and watch the magic happen without worrying about toddlers running off.
Outdoor Candid Moments
For families who love the Mumbai outdoors, we head to local parks or the beach during the golden hour. These sessions are perfect for sibling dynamics—the running, the holding hands, the random discoveries in the sand. I keep the posing minimal. I’d rather catch the look your child gives their sibling when they think no one is watching than a perfectly aligned group portrait. These sessions are about movement, laughter, and letting the city’s natural light do the heavy lifting.
