Bringing grandparents, parents, and grandchildren into one frame is rare and precious. In my Malad studio, I create a calm, unhurried space where your entire family can relax, be yourselves, and capture a legacy shot without the stress of stiff posing.

A beautiful, happy portrait of three generations together. I ensure everyone feels comfortable so we can capture genuine smiles and interactions in a classic studio setting.

This portrait focuses on the younger generation of the family, highlighting the close bonds between siblings and cousins in a warm, earthy-toned studio setup.

A full family portrait against a classic dark backdrop, creating a timeless and elegant look. The coordinated outfits in neutral tones help unify the image and keep the focus on their connection.

A lovely family of four portrait, with the older brother proudly holding his little sister. These are the moments that truly define a family's love story.

Pure joy! I love capturing the fun, candid moments, like parents playfully lifting their laughing baby. It’s these unscripted interactions that make for the most memorable family photos.

The special bond between grandparents and their grandchild is a story in itself. This portrait radiates warmth and affection, a precious memory for the whole family.

A simple, classic portrait of two brothers. Capturing the protective and gentle nature of an older sibling is always a heartwarming experience.

A mother and her baby share a sweet moment. These individual portraits within a larger family session are perfect for highlighting each unique relationship.

Behind the scenes of a large family shoot, you can see the genuine laughter and interactions. My goal is to make the session feel like a fun family get-together, not a stiff photo appointment.

More candid moments from our group session. I gently guide everyone into place, allowing for natural movement and expressions to create a lively and authentic family portrait.

About Our Family Legacy: Multi-Generational Portraits

Getting 6 to 8 people in one frame, especially with elderly members and toddlers, requires patience, not just a camera. I dedicate 3 to 4 hours to these multi-generational sessions in my Malad studio. We take breaks as needed and I have a dedicated safety assistant on hand, so you never feel rushed to get the shot. By the time we start, everyone is comfortable, relaxed, and ready to share their genuine smiles.

A Legacy Worth Capturing

A family portrait is more than just an image; it is a keepsake that anchors your history. When you bring your dadi, nana, and the little ones together, we aren't just clicking photos, we are building a piece of your family heirloom.

Why a 4-Hour Session?

Large group photography cannot be rushed. My Multi-Generational Heritage package is designed around the needs of the slowest and the youngest family members. A 4-hour window allows us to:

  • Settle in: We don't start shooting immediately. We let everyone get accustomed to the studio lights and the setting.
  • Manage Dynamics: With 6 to 8 people, attention spans vary. We capture full-group shots, individual portraits of the grandkids with their grandparents, and parent-child interactions, moving at a pace that ensures everyone feels included.
  • Safety First: With a dedicated assistant, we manage the logistics of moving people into position, ensuring toddlers are safe and seniors are comfortable.

The Finishing Touches

I believe in perfection without looking 'photoshopped.' This package includes advanced editing techniques like head-swapping. If someone blinked or a child turned away at the wrong second, I ensure we use the best expressions from other frames to create a final, cohesive image where everyone looks their best.

Styling for Cohesion

For large groups, wardrobe can be the biggest point of stress. I always suggest keeping it simple. Coordinated, neutral tones or classic ethnic wear work best to keep the focus on your family's connection, not on clashing patterns. Once you book, we can chat about what to wear so that the final result feels timeless.

I’m Shilpa, and I call myself a ‘photo doula’ because I’m here to hold space for your family’s most precious milestones. When your whole family comes into my studio, my only goal is to ensure your grandmother and your toddler both feel seen, comfortable, and beautiful.
