Essential Studio Session (2 Looks)
Session Details
- Duration: 1.5 to 2 hours at the Malad West studio.
- Looks: 2 distinct wardrobe changes (typically 1 formal gown and 1 casual/silhouette).
- Subjects: Focuses on the mother-to-be. Partner can join for a few frames.
Wardrobe & Styling
- Gowns: Access to 2 maternity gowns from the client closet (tulle, body-con, or maxis).
- Guidance: Styling consultation and physical posing demonstrations.
- Exclusions: Hair and makeup are not included.
Deliverables
- Images: 10 to 12 high-resolution fine art edits with skin retouching.
- Delivery: Private online gallery for selection.
Signature Studio Package (Family & Creative Themes)
Session Details
- Duration: Extended 3 to 4 hour session allowing for nursing breaks and unhurried changes.
- Themes: 3 to 4 creative sets choosing from Goddess, High Voltage (sequins), Cultural (saree drapes), or Boho styles.
- Subjects: Full family participation including partner and siblings.
Wardrobe & Production
- Outfits: Access to up to 4 outfits including premium heavy gowns and textured fabrics.
- Styling: Includes signature fabric draping to create gown or wing effects.
- Support: Dedicated assistant provided for outfit changes and handling toddlers.
Deliverables
- Images: 25 to 30 high-end retouched images with cinematic editing.
- Bonus: 1 Behind-the-Scenes (BTS) reel or photo slideshow for social media.

Golden Hour Outdoor Session

Session Styles
- Studio maternity portraits at my Malad West studio. I set up the lighting and mood just how you want it.
- Modern & bold, soft & ethereal, minimalist black and white, regal goddess, boho earthy - we can mix it up.
- Natural maternity photography outdoors - Mumbai gardens or sunset by the sea. If you have a spot in mind, I’m game for destination shoots.
With Family & Friends
Family maternity session? Absolutely. Bring your partner, kids, or a friend who’s also expecting. I love catching those happy, shared moments.
How We Plan
- I guide you with posing, so you don’t have to stress about looking perfect.
- Loads of maternity gowns and drapes for you to choose from.
- Baby shoes, announcement boards, or any personal props are welcome.
When to Book
Best time for maternity bump photos is between 28-34 weeks. Book about a month early so we don’t miss the moment.

My Story
Hey, I’m Shilpa - people call me the 'photo doula'. I’m all about capturing those real, messy, beautiful family moments, especially when you want your culture in every frame. Being Malayali, I get super excited for shoots with a traditional twist (Onam shoot in my studio? Still smiling!). Some clients start as strangers, but end up like family.
