About Kids & Family Portraits
Kids don’t sit still, and honestly, that’s when the best photos happen. My sessions are designed to be play-based rather than pose-based, which helps even the shyest children open up. Whether we’re running around at a park or setting up a traditional theme at home, we’ll take the time needed for naps or snacks so your kids stay happy, not exhausted.
Why Candid Beats Posed
We have all seen those stiff family photos where everyone is told to say cheese until their cheeks hurt. My approach for family and kids' photography in Mumbai is the complete opposite. I look for the fleeting moments—the way a father holds his child’s hand while walking, or the genuine belly laugh of a toddler during playtime. These interactions tell a much stronger story than any rehearsed pose ever could.
My Setup & Approach
- Home & Outdoor Sessions: I can come to your home in Navi Mumbai or meet you at your favorite park or beach. I use natural light to keep the mood soft and authentic.
- Flexible Timings: I know kids have their own schedules. If we need a break for a snack, a nap, or just a quick distraction, we take it. No clock-watching that stresses you or the little ones out.
- Themed Shoots: From traditional festivals like Ashadi Ekadashi to simple lifestyle setups, I bring basic props to help create the right atmosphere. If you have a specific idea, let’s chat about it before the shoot.
What to Expect
You will receive a mix of candid and gently directed shots. For kids, my patience-first method means we focus on their comfort above all else. For family portraits, I prioritize capturing the chemistry between everyone, making sure nobody feels out of place. My goal is to provide a gallery of images that you’ll look back on years later and feel exactly what you felt on that day.
