Classic Studio Milestone Session
Session Details
- Duration: 1.5 to 2 hours maximum.
- Location: Indoor climate-controlled studio in Malad West.
- Pacing: Baby-led approach allowing breaks for feeding or soothing.
Setups & Styling
- Look 1: Classic/Minimalist (Solid color backdrops, wooden floor).
- Look 2: Prop-based Setup (Choice of Floral tub, Vintage Chair, or Little Chef).
- Wardrobe: Access to studio wardrobe (Rompers, bonnets, headbands, ruffle bloomers). Parents typically bring 1 personal outfit.
Team & Safety
- Crew: Lead photographer plus 1 assistant dedicated to baby safety and spotting.
Deliverables
- Images: 10 High-Resolution professionally retouched JPEGs.
- Delivery: Soft copies sent via online gallery link.
Signature Birthday & Cake Smash
Session Overview
- Duration: 3 to 4 hours.
- Concept: Storytelling approach covering formal portraits, creative themes, and messy fun.
- Consultation: Pre-shoot planning for theme selection (e.g., Jungle Safari, Mermaid, Barnyard).
Setups (3-4 Looks)
- Family Portraits: Parents and siblings included on a neutral backdrop.
- Creative Theme: Elaborate stage decoration with balloons and props.
- Cake Smash: Dedicated setup for the cake cutting and smashing.
- Bubble Bath: Optional clean-up tub shot after the smash.
Props & Wardrobe
- Cake: Standard eggless smash cake provided by the studio.
- Outfits: 2-3 Studio outfits provided for the baby (Tutus, suspenders, costumes).
- Decor: Extensive use of thematic props and miniatures.

Outdoor Golden Hour Session
Session Details
- Duration: 90 Minutes (Timed strictly around sunset).
- Location: Beaches or gardens in Mumbai (e.g., Aksa Beach, Malad).
- Style: Candid and lifestyle focusing on movement and play rather than posed shots.
Logistics & Styling
- Setups: Uses natural environment (Sand, Sea, Greenery) with minimal props.
- Wardrobe: Up to 2 outfit changes (Clients bring their own; studio may provide one vintage outfit).
- Weather Policy: Flexible rescheduling included for heavy rains.
Deliverables
- Images: 15 High-Resolution artistically edited images.
- Edit Style: Color graded for a warm sunset aesthetic.

I’m here to help you freeze those wild, sweet moments of childhood – the cheeky grins, the wobbly first stands, and even the sibling squabbles. My studio in Malad West is set up for easy-going sessions, whether you want classic, minimalist child portraits or an all-out fantasy world with costumes and props.
Milestones & Magic
- I love capturing sitter milestone photography, first birthday themed shoot ideas, and the pure chaos of toddler personality photos.
- Themes range from fairy wings and beach scenes to little bakers and musicians. My studio’s got a stash of props – balloons, mini sofas, tubs, and more.
- If you prefer timeless, simple looks, we keep it neutral and let your child’s face do all the talking.
Studio & Outdoor Shoots
- My studio is cozy and full of natural light, but I also shoot outdoors in Mumbai’s parks and beaches. Kids in nature? Always magic, especially at golden hour.
How I Roll
- A session with me is never stiff. There’s laughter, games, and probably a lot of me saying “smile karo!” (please smile!) or “kitne pyaare lag rahe ho!” (you look so adorable!). I work with the mood, not against it.
- Safety is non-negotiable. I’m gentle, patient and never rush the process.
Sibling Love
- I pay special attention to sibling bond photography, capturing those tiny gestures and big hugs that say more than words ever could.

My Story
Hey, I’m Shilpa - people call me the 'photo doula'. I’m all about capturing those real, messy, beautiful family moments, especially when you want your culture in every frame. Being Malayali, I get super excited for shoots with a traditional twist (Onam shoot in my studio? Still smiling!). Some clients start as strangers, but end up like family.
