My Training Philosophy and Methods
There are no shortcuts to real fitness. I combine martial arts discipline with traditional yoga to build a body that is strong inside and out.
This is what dedication looks like. My training combines martial arts discipline with yoga flexibility to build real, functional power. This vertical split kick demonstrates the kind of advanced mobility and control we work towards.
Discipline starts young. Here, I am leading a group of young students through synchronized push-ups on the grass. We build strength and character together, whether you are a child in your first karate gi or an experienced adult.
Finding strength in stillness. I believe true wellness comes from connecting with nature and your inner self. This is me in a seated meditation pose on a rock, a practice I teach to build mental focus and calm.
This is a test of pure stability and back strength. The challenge is to lift your torso off the ground while holding bricks with straight arms, keeping your legs still. It’s an unconventional exercise that builds immense core and posterior chain power.
Flexibility is not just for yoga, it's essential for a healthy body. I often use partner-assisted stretching to help my students safely push past their limits and achieve a deeper range of motion, as seen here with a standing split stretch.
Health is a family value. Here I am practicing yoga and meditation with my son, starting his wellness journey early. I believe in making fitness a part of life at every age, from playful exercises to focused asanas.
"Mehnat ki aag mein haada ne sekange." We forge ourselves in the fire of hard work. This video shows me and my students running on the Kartavya Path with India Gate in the background, building endurance with a sense of pride.
Training those who protect us. This is a glimpse of an outdoor training camp I conducted for the World Police Games. My program is designed to build the physical and mental resilience required for high-pressure jobs.
About Featured
I don't teach fitness just for show. In my sessions, we combine the quiet focus of Hatha Yoga with the intensity of police-style PT. You will find yourself holding a Cobra pose one minute and drilling dynamic bodyweight movements the next, because true strength requires both stillness and explosive power.
A Hybrid Approach to Strength
My coaching style is shaped by years as a Commonwealth athlete and my work with police teams. I believe that pure bodybuilding or standard gym routines leave you missing the most important part: the connection between a calm mind and a capable body.
We start with asanas, moving from basics to advanced positions, to focus on safe flexibility and joint health. This isn't about perfect aesthetics; it is about functional capability. We then switch gears into dynamic, police-style PT, where we focus on endurance, core strength, and functional movement. This balance ensures you are not just flexible but also powerful and resilient against injury.
Mental Grit
Physical training is only half the battle. I incorporate breathwork and traditional chanting to teach you how to remain composed under pressure. We use practices like the Manipurachakra Jagruti Mudra to help you face fears and build mental resilience.
What You Need to Bring
You do not need fancy gear or a background in athletics to start training with me. What you do need is the willingness to put in the work. I don't believe in shortcuts, and I don't believe in motivation that fades after two weeks. If you are ready to show up, be disciplined, and sweat, you will get results. Whether we are training in my Delhi dojo or at an outdoor park, the standard remains the same.
