Behind the Scenes at My Training Sessions

A glimpse into my daily training rhythm, the gyms I frequent in Bangalore, and the discipline behind the sessions.

A fun edit comparing me to my Ghibli-style anime version. Martial arts is my passion, and I like to have fun with it too.

Taking a moment to rest after some good striking rounds. The grind is tough, but the feeling of progress is worth it.

Feeling strong after a great kickboxing session at The Dojo.

Another shot from the same session, just enjoying the post-training pump.

After a good BJJ sparring session. As Renzo Gracie said, "My opponent is my teacher, my ego is my enemy."

A duplicate shot, but the quote is always relevant. We learn from everyone we roll with.

Happy Ganesh Chaturthi. A little shadow boxing to celebrate.

Back at The Dojo. The Japanese calligraphy on the walls adds to the traditional martial arts atmosphere.

After a BJJ session at The Dojo. It's a place where you can really focus on your mind, body, and spirit.

A physique update during my bulking phase. It's all part of the process of building strength for competition.

About Additional Work

Whether I am teaching at The Dojo in HSR Layout or running my main batches in Basapura, the approach remains the same. You will not find flashy shortcuts here, just technical drills, sweat, and controlled sparring that actually prepares you for a real fitness challenge or a fight.

This gallery captures the reality of my daily grind—from the early morning BJJ rolls to the kickboxing bag work. I share these moments because I want you to know exactly what you are walking into. Whether I am training myself or guiding students at my Basapura facility or HSR Layout, the focus is always on the basics. I believe in a 'no shortcut' philosophy. If you are serious about building a strong mind and body, you have to show up, do the technique, and accept that improvement takes time. My students range from beginners taking their first boxing class to fighters prepping for competition. You do not need to be an athlete to start, but you do need to be disciplined. I also include details about my own competition prep because it keeps my coaching authentic—I am still a student of the game just as much as I am a teacher. Avvalothan.
