My training isn't about fancy gym equipment or quick fixes. Whether we are drilling Dutch kickboxing combos or working on your grappling, you will get the same technical focus that I use for my own fights. We start with the basics to build your foundation, and we don't move on until your form is sharp enough to handle the impact.
I am Babu, a mechanical engineer who chose the mats over machines. At Sai MMA Academy, we focus on what actually works. My methodology is built on discipline and controlled progression. Whether you are coming to me to burn off stress or to compete in the ring, the process is the same.
What we focus on
- Dutch-Style Kickboxing: We drill specific combos—jab-cross-hooks—and focus heavily on footwork and checking kicks. It is about speed, power, and learning to defend yourself before you learn to strike.
- MMA & BJJ: My sessions cover the full spectrum of mixed martial arts. We break down the basics of grappling and ground fighting, ensuring you understand the mechanics of every move rather than just mimicking them.
- Conditioning: Strength and cardio are the engines behind your technique. Expect agility drills, pad work, and heavy bag circuits designed to build endurance that lasts beyond the training hour.
Training locations
We operate in HSR Layout and Electronic City, keeping the sessions practical and accessible. My classes are structured to accommodate everyone: kids starting from age 4, women looking for self-defense and fitness, and fighters preparing for the next tournament.
