Step into our dojang to master Taekwondo. From fundamental stances to advanced conditioning, see how we build fitness, focus, and discipline one session at a time.

This montage shows the variety in our training sessions. You can see students practicing synchronized Poomsae, building strength with pushups, and developing power by kicking the punching bags.

Our training includes agility drills using cones to improve footwork and coordination, as well as dynamic pad work to sharpen kicking techniques in a group setting.

Discipline starts with the basics. A class of students in doboks of various belt colors performs synchronized stretching exercises on the safety mats of our dojang.

Precision is just as important as power. This black belt student practices a high roundhouse kick, aiming to knock a small object off a target, which hones his accuracy and control.

Another look at our precision kicking drills. A student executes a clean round kick, focusing on form and accuracy to hit the small target.

I train students of all ages. This video shows some of my younger martial artists, wearing red and blue belts, practicing their jumping kicks and side kicks on the heavy bags.

A student practices her side kicks on a heavy bag. This is a fundamental part of our training, helping to build power, balance, and proper kicking form.

It is never too early to start learning discipline. Here, one of my youngest students, a blue belt, participates in kicking drills and conditioning exercises alongside his classmates.

About Inside the Dojang: Our Training Regimen

Before you join, know that we operate on a structured schedule with classes held 3 to 4 days per week in 60-minute blocks. We emphasize safety and foundation, using 25mm EVA mats for every session to ensure that whether you are practicing Poomsae forms or high-intensity kicking drills, your training remains safe and effective.

At Indo International Taekwondo Academy in Okhla, training is a deliberate process. We do not just teach you how to kick; we teach you how to focus. When you walk into our dojang, you will find an environment built for progression. We use heavy bags for power development, kicking paddles for precision, and industrial crash mats for those mastering aerial techniques and flips.

Our syllabus is grounded in World Taekwondo (WT) standards. We break your training into three key pillars:

  • Foundations: Every student begins with fundamental stances and basic striking. This is where we build the patience and consistency required for the belt system.
  • Poomsae (Forms): We focus heavily on the synchronization of attack and defense. This improves your balance, rhythm, and body control.
  • Kyorugi (Sparring): For those moving into advanced programs, we transition to full-contact drills. This covers ring management, counter-attacks, and conditioning for match scenarios.

We train students of all ages. My classes are structured so that kids, teens, and adults develop at their own pace. As I always tell my students, 'Samay ki keemat samjho, tabhi kuch banoge' (Understand the value of time, only then will you become something). If you come ready to sweat and follow the discipline of the dojang, you will see progress, whether you are here for fitness or aiming for district-level medals.
