About Aerial Yoga & Hammock Flow
When you step into our aerial yoga hammock, the first thing you will notice is how much tension melts away from your spine. It is not just about cool-looking poses or hanging upside down; we use the fabric to support your weight, allowing you to go deeper into stretches than you ever could on a standard yoga mat. Our instructors stay close, providing one-on-one spotting, so you do not need to worry about falling or getting it right immediately. Ghai nahi karna hai—we take it slow, move by move, until you feel steady enough to flow.
Why Aerial Yoga at Incredible Mallakhamb
Aerial yoga is more than just a workout; it is a way to decompress. When you are suspended in the hammock, gravity works for you, not against you. This allows for deep spinal decompression and gives you the ability to perform inversions safely, even if you have never tried yoga before.
What You Will Experience
- Supportive Environment: We use high-density crash mats and robust rigging. Our instructors provide constant spotting for your first few inversions.
- Mind-Body Connection: Hanging upside down forces you to focus. It is the perfect antidote to a busy day in Mumbai. Once you find that center, the 'chatter' in your mind stops.
- Flexibility & Strength: You will build upper body and core strength without feeling like you are grinding through a gym routine. It is creative, fun, and highly effective.
Common Questions Answered
- Do I need to be fit? Not at all. We have beginners starting every week. If you can sit and stand, you can start aerial yoga.
- Is it scary? It is normal to feel nervous about height at first. Our instructors are trained to help you get comfortable with the fabric before you ever leave the ground.
- What should I wear? Wear comfortable, tight-fitting clothes so they do not get caught in the fabric, and please avoid zippers.
We focus on steady, safe progress. Whether you are training at our Kandivali East, West, or our other Mumbai centers, you get the same 'Incredible' family atmosphere. We are not just a fitness center; we are a community that celebrates your first successful inversion as much as you do.
Incredible Mallakhamb
I started Incredible Mallakhamb in a dusty bus parking lot, and today, seeing students from all walks of life find their strength in our aerial hammocks keeps that same fire alive. We are a family here—we celebrate your small wins, like that first successful inversion, just as much as your advanced sequences.
