Educational Architecture & Institutional Design
We design learning spaces that balance modern functionality with deep psychological comfort, transforming schools into inspiring hubs for students and educators.
We design expansive, double-height waiting areas that feel open, modern, and aspirational. This space at The Shri Ram Universal School in Jaipur uses natural light, clean lines, and sculptural furniture to create a powerful first impression, setting a sophisticated tone for the entire institution.
A look inside a modern college library we designed for Queen’s College, Indore. The space combines warm Scandinavian minimalism with classical architectural arches, creating a serene and inviting atmosphere for focused study and reading.
Learning should be fun. For Konark Academy in Kurukshetra, we designed a vibrant indoor play zone complete with a colorful ball pit, slides, and soft play structures, providing a safe and stimulating environment for young children to explore and grow.
The entrance of a school is the gateway to its community. We designed this modern, impactful entrance for Konark Academy, featuring a strong architectural form with clean lines and a glass facade that signals a forward-thinking educational environment.
This conference room at The Shri Ram Universal School is designed for strategic collaboration. The combination of a marble accent wall, wood panelling, and bold orange seating creates a space that is both professional and energizing, fostering productivity and innovation.
We believe in creating unique solutions that blend function with delight. The 'Konark Express' is a custom-designed train that safely transports primary students across the campus, turning a simple commute into a memorable part of their school day.
Symmetry and simplicity define this serene reading room at Queen’s College. Framed by a beautiful wooden arch, the space uses full-height bookshelves and minimalist furniture to create a quiet, light-filled sanctuary for students.
About this collection
When we approach educational institutions, we focus on the psychology of the environment. For instance, our work at Konark Academy included a custom-designed transit system, the 'Konark Express', which functions as a safe, dedicated path for primary students to navigate the campus without crossing high-traffic zones. This type of planning ensures that layout, lighting, and safety measures work together to support the school's daily operations, not just its visual appeal.
Educational architecture requires a balance between creative stimulation and rigid functionality. We prioritize the student experience by integrating biophilic design principles, such as natural light penetration and greenery, to reduce stress and improve focus. Whether we are planning a master campus or renovating a single zone, our process is rooted in data-backed spatial planning.
Our design approach typically involves several technical phases:
- Site and Sun-Path Analysis: Before drawing a single line, we study the site to maximize natural ventilation and daylight, ensuring classrooms stay bright and comfortable throughout the day.
- Modern Library Concepts: We move away from traditional, stuffy reading rooms by applying Scandinavian-inspired minimalism, featuring floor-to-ceiling bookshelves and tech-integrated study corners.
- Safe Play Areas: We design indoor and outdoor play zones using durable, non-toxic materials that meet safety standards while encouraging physical activity.
- Documentation: We provide comprehensive Good-for-Construction (GFC) drawings, facade details, and MEP coordination to ensure that what we design is exactly what gets built on-site.
We design for the long term. From high-traffic administrative lobbies featuring Italian marble and durable veneer to classrooms with acoustic grid ceilings and anti-skid flooring, every choice is made to withstand heavy daily use while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for parents, staff, and students.
