About this collection
Designing for young learners requires more than just bright colors. We focus on durable, age-appropriate spatial planning, utilizing anti-skid vinyl flooring and furniture sized specifically for nursery and primary students. This ensures that every classroom remains safe, easy to maintain, and fully adaptable for interactive group activities.
When we worked on the Konark Academy project in Kurukshetra, our goal was to move away from the traditional, institutional look. We believe that a child's environment directly impacts their willingness to learn, which is why we prioritise biophilic elements and flexible layouts over rigid, static classroom designs.
Our Approach to School Interiors
We don't use 'copy-paste' templates. Every institution we work with has a unique ethos, and our design process reflects that:
- Safety First: We use anti-skid flooring and rounded-edge custom furniture to minimise injury risks. All paints and materials are selected for being low-VOC and non-toxic, ensuring a healthy indoor air quality for children.
- Flexible Layouts: Classrooms are designed to be reconfigured quickly. Using modular tables and mobile storage units allows teachers to switch from a standard lecture setup to a collaborative group project space in minutes.
- Thematic Identity: Each grade level or wing is given its own identity through color blocking and custom graphics. For our younger learners, this aids in navigation and creates a sense of belonging.
Whether it is integrating a ball pit in an indoor play zone or creating custom shelving that fits a child's reach, every decision is made with the end-user in mind. We operate from Delhi but travel across India for large-scale institutional projects, managing everything from the initial site analysis to final execution.
