Therapeutic Yoga for Pain and Injury Recovery
Stop chasing influencer trends and fake poses. I use clinical yoga to help you heal from chronic pain and injuries, right from your home, with simple, science-backed techniques.
Safety in practice is paramount, especially when teaching online. Here, I explain the common issue of elbow hyperextension and how to correct it to ensure proper muscle engagement and prevent injury in poses like Downward-Facing Dog and Plank.
The journey of a student from learning, to absorbing the knowledge, to passing it on. We worked on correcting ingrained habits like sucking in the belly, a common issue that can hinder proper breathing and core function in backbends.
I prioritize strength, functionality, and conditioning to help you avoid recurring injuries. An aesthetic body is useless without internal health and control. My practice focuses on building a resilient body, not just one that looks good.
Yoga-related injuries are rising because of poor guidance. I teach you to be mindful and build a consistent, safe practice. This reel shows a focus on deep stretches like Hanumanasana and Kapotasana, done with awareness to avoid harm.
About this collection
I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all routines. Before we start, I personally review your MRI reports or X-rays. My diagnostic process identifies exactly where your movement patterns are failing, ensuring we build a therapy plan that is safe for your specific injury, whether it is a herniated disc or chronic stiffness.
Yoga is not a performance art, and it is certainly not about being lean or Instagram-ready. When dealing with injuries, common yoga tropes can actually make things worse. My clinical approach is built on biomechanics and safety, not aesthetics.
My Clinical Methodology
I teach entirely online, which allows me to work with students everywhere while keeping the focus on precise, verbal instruction. You won't find fancy props here. We use what you have at home—chairs, walls, bedsheets—to understand body mechanics and fix alignment.
The Recovery Journey
- Diagnostic Assessment: We start with a deep dive into your history, MRIs, and movement patterns. This is non-negotiable. If I don't know your specific pain triggers, I cannot treat you.
- Rehabilitation: My sessions focus on conditioning, strengthening the muscles around your joints, and educating you on how to avoid re-injury.
- Consistency (Abhyasa): There are no magic pills. Healing takes time, patience, and shraddha (faith). You will learn to unlearn bad habits, like the common tendency to suck in the belly during poses, which hinders core function and breathing.
Whether you are dealing with herniated discs, chronic neck pain, or simply the stiffness of a sedentary lifestyle, I provide the structure you need to get back to living without pain. My goal is to make you self-sufficient, so you eventually don't need me anymore.
