Look, we all love the aerial flow, but don’t sleep on the floor work. I really recommend starting here because it builds the core stability you need for the hammock. Think of this as your foundation—if your muscles aren't firing right on the mat, you won't get the best out of your aerial sessions. It’s the best way to build strength and avoid joint pain later.
Why we mix it up: Yoga vs. Pilates
If you’re coming to our Vashi studio for aerial classes, you might be tempted to skip the floor work. Please don’t. We intentionally mix traditional yoga flows with Pilates principles because building strength—real, functional strength—is how you stay safe when you’re hanging from the ceiling.
Whether you’re a total beginner or an experienced practitioner, our grounded sessions are about connecting your brain to your glutes, back, and core. We don’t do fluff here. We focus on:
- Joint Health: Flexibility is great, but hyper-mobility without strength is a recipe for injury. We help you balance both.
