I help educators and parents move beyond rote learning. My approach uses evidence-based literacy strategies to help children build genuine comprehension skills across all subjects.

A video showcasing a sensory activity for phonemic awareness from my 'Learn to Read, Read to Learn' (L2R R2L) program. Children match objects to their beginning letter sounds, making literacy a hands-on experience.

About this collection

In my sessions, we move away from abstract theory. Whether I am working with a school department or a small group of parents, we use tactile tools like phonemic awareness manipulatives and multisensory games. You will not just hear about the Science of Reading; you will actively build a phonics station or design a cross-curricular link that connects a history text to a math problem.

Literacy is the gateway to every other subject. When I present on the Science of Reading (SoR), I focus on shifting from rote memorization to actual cognitive understanding. Whether I am guiding a group of teachers through phonemic awareness activities or helping parents support a struggling reader at home, the goal is the same: providing tools that work immediately.

My approach is research-backed but practically applied. We do not sit through long slideshows. Instead, we dissect how language functions as a cognitive tool, building connections between decoding skills and comprehension. We use manipulatives to make abstract sounds tangible, ensuring that every learner—regardless of age—can visualize what they are reading.

For K-12 educators, my institutional training covers how to integrate literacy into math, science, and the arts. I show you how to design lessons where a history text becomes a reading exercise that also sharpens critical thinking. We look at board-specific curriculum requirements like IB, CBSE, or IGCSE and map out sustainable classroom strategies that save you time.

For parents, the focus shifts to creating a supportive home environment. We tackle reading anxiety by breaking down complex processes into small, manageable wins. You will leave with a clear plan, not just a list of theories. My sessions are collaborative spaces where we swap strategies, normalize the challenges of teaching, and build a community around the idea that every student can succeed if we provide the right environment.

I’m Jaspreet. My journey started with my son, Kai, and a realization that traditional schooling often misses the mark on how kids actually learn. I don't just run workshops; I build frameworks that combine the Science of Reading with emotional care, because when a child feels confident and understood, the learning follows naturally.
