Master Classical Hatha Yoga Core Practices
These practices are not for fitness alone but to align your inner energy. I teach them exactly as I received them, step-by-step, so you can practice independently for life.
In this video, Sadhguru explains in Hindi that Hatha Yoga is not just an exercise but a living process to reshape your fundamental chemistry. By holding an asana, you can change your experience of life.
Yoga Namaskar is a simple and powerful practice for spinal health. As Sadhguru explains, a healthy spine is crucial for clarity and perception in life.
Sadhguru emphasizes that the clarity needed to succeed in life depends on the condition of your spine, as it is central to your perception.
The spine is not just a physical substance; it is the basis of communication within your system. Daily stretching through practices like Yoga Namaskar is essential to maintain this capability.
The practice of Yoga Namaskar activates the lumbar region, strengthens the muscles along the spine, and can even help regenerate the spine if damage is setting in.

About The Core Practices: What You Will Learn
People often ask if they need to be flexible to start. The truth is, these sequences—whether it is Angamardana for strength or Surya Kriya for vitality—are designed to build stability from the ground up, not rely on your current flexibility. Because I teach these as a structured, multi-day process rather than a drop-in class, we focus on the minute geometric alignments that make the practice safe and effective for years to come.
A Living Process, Not Just Exercise
Many come to yoga expecting a gym-like workout, but what we explore here is a living process. My role is to pass on the Classical Hatha Yoga tools exactly as they were shared with me. This requires focus and consistency.
The Core Modules
- Yogasanas: This is not about touching your toes. We use postures to stabilize the mind and body. It is a slow, meditative process that helps you become more aware of your inner geometry.
- Angamardana: If you are looking for physical strength, this is it. We do not use machines or heavy weights. This practice uses only your body weight and momentum to build real stamina and suppleness.
- Surya Kriya: A powerful, 21-step solar energy sequence. It is designed to enhance your vitality and harmonize your system with the cycles of the sun.
- Bhuta Shuddhi: A foundational practice for elemental purification. It is a simple ritual, but it helps ground you in ways that daily life often makes difficult.
What to Expect
These are not drop-in sessions. Whether you are in Delhi NCR or visiting Sadhguru Sannidhi in Chattarpur, you will commit to a multi-day workshop. Attendance for all sessions is mandatory. This ensures you learn the nuances of the postures, breathing, and transitions correctly. After the workshop, I provide ongoing support through a 40-day mandala period, where we help you establish the habit. My goal is to ensure that once you leave, you have a practice that is truly your own.
Dakshith
I teach yoga because it changed my own life, and I am simply passing on these tools as I received them. There is no performance here, only a quiet, dedicated effort to help you find that same balance and clarity I found through my sadhana.
