If you are wondering why there are no worksheets in our photos, it is because we believe children learn through their hands first. Why We Choose These Materials
We avoid the standard 'sit and listen' approach. Instead, we use materials that offer immediate feedback:
- Self-Correction: Many of our wooden puzzles and sorting activities allow children to see for themselves if a piece fits or if a calculation is off. This builds internal confidence rather than reliance on a teacher's validation.
- Concrete to Abstract: We use physical items like bead chains to represent numbers and units. By holding a 'thousand' cube in their hands, a child develops a true understanding of quantity long before they deal with abstract digits on paper.
- Practical Life: You will see us using real tools, like mini scales and pouring sets. These aren't just toys; they develop the motor skills, focus, and coordination required for all complex learning.
