Professional Montessori Diploma (Pre-Primary)
Core Curriculum
- Theory: Comprehensive coverage of Montessori Philosophy (Absorbent Mind, Sensitive Periods) and Child Psychology for ages 3-6.
- Methodology: Expert-led demonstrations of over 80 materials across 5 pillars: Practical Life (EPL), Sensorial, Language, Mathematics (0-10 through Decimals), and Culture (Botany, Zoology, Geography).
Practical Training & Material
- Internship: Mandatory 200-hour supervised internship within the authentic Montessori environment at Hastam.
- Lab Access: Dedicated hours for independent practice with wooden materials to master handling techniques.
- Album Creation: Mentorship to create 7 essential reference manuals (Albums) required for professional practice.
Certification
- Assessment: Includes Viva Voce and practical examinations conducted by external or senior internal examiners.
- Outcome: Award of the Montessori Trained Professional Diploma upon successful completion.
Parent & Homeschooler Foundation Course
Knowledge & Methodology
- Classroom Access: Attendance at all philosophy and child development lectures alongside diploma students.
- Demonstrations: Full observation access to material presentations across all 5 avenues (EPL, Sensorial, Math, Language, Culture).
Hands-on Learning
- Lab Practice: Access to materials during lab hours to understand teaching mechanics (e.g., Long Rods, Spindle Box) for home application.
- Assignments: Simplified focus on understanding concepts rather than rigorous professional documentation.
Scope of Certification

Internship is at our 5500 sqft campus on Kanakapura Road. You’ll work with actual children aged 2-6, in mixed-age groups, learning from classic Montessori materials. It’s a full-on, lively space - sometimes messy, always buzzing.

My Story
We’re Hastam Montessori. 'Hastam' means hand - you’ll spot it on our gate, in Kannada too. That word shapes everything we do. Kids here get messy, curious, sometimes spend hours on one project, just exploring. It’s not about ticking boxes, it’s about letting creativity flow. We make our own learning stuff, like sandpaper letters. Seeing kids help each other, alumni coming back for siblings - that’s when we know, this place is more than school. It’s home, with respect and warmth.
My Work
Montessori Programs for Kids & Adults - We run preschool for 2-6 yrs, Montessori homeschooling kits, Learner’s Lab, summer camps, and Diploma training.
Child-Led, Mixed-Age Classrooms - Kids choose what to work on, learn at their own pace, and mix with different ages. It’s real Montessori.
Hands-On Learning, Not Just Memory - No rote stuff. Kids use Coloured Bead Bars for multiplication, pound spices, open lock boxes - learning by doing.
Campus Full of Discovery - We’ve got a climbing wall, garden for little harvests, and nature-watching. Learning happens everywhere here.
