Modern Urban Homes Designed for Purpose and Legacy
In the density of our cities, we design homes that act as sanctuaries of calm, balancing shared family spaces with quiet, private retreats.
The Aalay residence is designed around a family-centered open plan. The living and dining areas flow into one another, with carefully placed furniture defining each zone without walls, creating a sense of openness and connectivity for this multi-generational family.
The basement in the House of Two Worlds is conceived as a dedicated social zone, separate from the main living areas. This bar and lounge area is designed for large-scale entertainment, featuring acoustic zoning and an immersive character for hosting guests.
In the Aalay residence, we used strategic flooring patterns and material choices to guide movement through the open-plan layout. This dining area demonstrates how circulation can be defined while maintaining a feeling of spaciousness and flow.
The House of Two Worlds in Gurugram is designed for balance, allowing two families to share one home while maintaining their individuality. This living area, with its warm tones and view of the helical staircase, is a shared space that feels both personal and connected.
Each bedroom in the Aalay residence is a personal retreat designed for comfort and reflection. This parent's room uses a palette of muted greys and browns to create a sophisticated and calming atmosphere, complete with a bespoke upholstered bed and integrated shelving.

This study corner in the Aalay home is a perfect example of creating personal space within a family residence. The deep green wardrobe, rich wooden desk, and herringbone flooring come together to craft a quiet, sophisticated nook for work or reflection.
About this collection
Designing in a dense city environment requires more than just good looks. It demands programmatic clarity, the ability to separate public entertainment zones from the private sanctity of family life. We focus on how your family actually moves through a space, ensuring that circulation paths and room divisions feel natural rather than forced, even within a compact urban footprint.
Our approach to the modern urban home is defined by a dialogue between the site and the inhabitant. When we work on projects like the Aalay residence or the House of Two Worlds, we are not simply filling a plot; we are curating an experience.
Urban architecture requires a nuanced understanding of privacy versus connection. We often utilize open-plan layouts that, through strategic furniture placement and flooring patterns, define zones without the need for restrictive walls. This ensures that communal areas feel spacious and connected, while private bedrooms remain absolute sanctuaries.
We also prioritize climate-responsive features even in tight footprints. Whether it is orienting windows for optimal cross-breezes or installing skylights to pull light into deep, interior-facing rooms, our designs work with the elements rather than against them.
Our process is rooted in material honesty. We choose elements like warm wood, textured stone, and bespoke joinery for their longevity and sensory character. When you choose to build with us, you are engaging in a design process where every sketch, section, and material choice is tested to ensure it holds meaning for decades to come.
