Custom Furniture Design and Architectural Craftsmanship
Furniture should be an extension of your home's architecture. We build pieces that match your space, not just fill it.
For our Barkat residence, we designed this bespoke desk and paired it with a bold red wall to create a powerful and inspiring home office. Each piece is crafted in collaboration with local artisans to be both functional and a work of art.
This four-poster bed and integrated sofa were custom-designed for the Barkat residence. The piece combines functions and creates a luxurious, hotel-like suite within the bedroom, showcasing our commitment to user-centric solutions.
This elegant study nook, featuring a custom-built desk and shelving, is a product of our DCA Workshop. We focus on creating pieces that are not only beautiful but also perfectly integrated into the architectural language of the home.
This bar and lounge area features furniture crafted by our DCA Workshop. We blend innovative design with local talent to create sophisticated pieces that stand apart from mass-produced options, reflecting our commitment to precision and conscious creation.
A closer look at a bespoke study area, where every element is thoughtfully designed for both form and function. The integrated shelving and minimalist desk provide a clean, organized workspace that complements the room's serene aesthetic.
This office space features custom wood panelling and classic leather armchairs, all part of a cohesive design from our workshop. We believe in creating environments where every piece of furniture contributes to a unified and sophisticated narrative.
In today’s world, mass-produced furniture often falls short. This custom-designed sofa and floor lamp for the Barkat project demonstrate our focus on creating pieces that are tailored to fit the scale and mood of a specific space.
About this collection
We approach furniture as an architectural extension rather than an afterthought. When you commission a piece through our workshop, you are involved in the prototyping phase, ensuring the joinery, height, and material weight are calibrated to how you actually move through your home rather than being forced to fit standard, mass-market dimensions.
The difference between catalog furniture and the pieces we create lies in the process of site-specific fabrication. Mass-produced items often dictate how a room functions, whereas our approach flips this. In projects like the Barkat residence, we collaborated with skilled local artisans to create integrated desks and storage that became part of the room’s architecture. This means we are not limited to standard measurements. If a room has an awkward corner or a unique ceiling height, we design for it.
Our workshop acts as our laboratory for material honesty. Whether it is leather-clad armchairs or sculptural wooden installations like those at the Nishtara Banquet Hall, the focus remains on the tactile quality of the materials—stone, wood, and metal—and how they age over time. We handle the technical planning, from joinery details to reflected ceiling plans, ensuring the furniture aligns perfectly with your home's electrical and automation layouts. By bringing the manufacturing process in-house, we remove the disconnect between design and execution, resulting in a cohesive environment where every chair, table, and storage unit feels intentional.
GroupDCA
At groupDCA, we treat every room as a complete story. Amit, Rahul, and our team don't believe in fillers; we believe in furniture that anchors the space, whether it is a study nook in a private home or a grand feature in a commercial hall.
