About Divine Pantheon: Deities of Protection & Love
Every deity you see here is pure kai kelasa (handiwork). We work directly with master sculptors in Karnataka to ensure the proportions align with traditional temple aesthetics, whether you are looking for matte-finish sandstone for your garden or deep-black granite for a pooja room altar. Because these are hand-chiseled from natural stone, each statue has unique characteristics—slight variations in the grain that tell the artisan’s story.
When choosing a stone deity, the material matters as much as the form. We primarily work with Krishna Shila (black schist) and high-density granite for pieces intended for indoor pooja rooms or entryways. These stones hold intricate details, like the temple-jewelry carvings on our Hoysala-style Vishnu statues, extremely well.
For outdoor spaces, we recommend our sandstone collection. It absorbs ambient light differently and develops a natural, weathered character over time, especially when placed near greenery.
Care for your statue is straightforward: keep it free of harsh chemical cleaners. Natural stone only needs water or a soft brush to maintain its finish. If you are placing a deity in your garden, ensure the base is level to handle the weight, as our granite sculptures are solid and substantial. We invite you to visit our Anjanapura space to see these pieces up close; it is the best way to understand the weight, texture, and the specific energy a piece brings to your home.
