We carve our Buddha statues and stupas from durable materials like red sandstone, which adds warmth to a room, and black granite or marble, which feels grounding and cool. Crafting Peace in Stone
We work with stone to honor ancient traditions, specifically drawing inspiration from the Pala dynasty style and local South Indian temple architecture. Each statue is not just decor; it is an exercise in mindfulness. Our red sandstone Buddhas, often shown in the meditation (Dhyana) or teaching (Dharmachakra) postures, are perfect for garden corners where the stone can weather beautifully over time.
The Stupa Significance
Our stupas are carved from solid black granite. In our philosophy, these represent the five elements—earth, water, fire, air, and wisdom. They act as strong focal points, whether placed on a pedestal in an entryway or tucked into a green corner among ferns and planters.
Placement & Care
- Indoor Spaces: Our white marble 'ashirwad hastha' (blessing hand) pieces pair wonderfully with soft indoor lighting and potted greenery. They are lightweight enough for shelves or side tables.
- Outdoor Spaces: The granite and sandstone figures are weather-resistant. We recommend placing them in a sheltered nook or a shaded garden spot to keep the stone clean and the moss from taking over too quickly, unless you prefer that weathered, wild aesthetic.
We always encourage people to come visit our warehouse in Anjanapura to see the stone grain in person, as photos struggle to capture the actual weight and serenity of these figures.
