About this collection
Every idol in this collection is a labor of love from our in-house artists. We use a manual 'chasing' technique, where artisans hand-chisel the eyes, jewelry, and fine features of each deity, giving them a distinct personality that mass-produced statues simply lack. Whether you are drawn to a bright, polished finish or the quiet, earthy charm of an antique patina, you can feel the quality of the heavy-gauge brass in every piece.
Artistry in Metal
Our brass deities are not just decorative pieces. They are created using traditional casting methods that have been passed down through generations of Indian artisans. We work primarily with high-grade brass and bronze alloys, which give our statues their characteristic weight and durability. Depending on the design, you will find intricate hand-chasing work to sharpen facial expressions and ornamentation, and in some pieces, delicate stone inlay work that catches the light.
Choosing Your Finish
- Antique Finish: These pieces undergo a controlled oxidation process, giving them a dark, rich, and timeless appeal. They look wonderful in naturally lit meditation corners or alongside wood furniture.
- Polished Finish: These have a bright, warm gold glow. They are perfect for pooja rooms where they can catch the flicker of oil lamps, or as standout centerpieces in a living room.
Care and Placement
Since these are made of solid brass, they are built to last. You do not need harsh chemicals to clean them. Simply wipe them down with a soft, dry cotton cloth once a week to prevent dust accumulation. If you notice the shine dulling over many years, a gentle rub with a specialized brass polishing cream or a traditional mix of lemon and salt will restore the luster.
We design these to be versatile. Whether you need a compact statue for your dashboard, a specific deity for your Vastu-compliant entrance, or a large, floor-standing sculpture, our collection covers sizes from 3 inches to 30 inches. If you have a specific deity in mind that you don't see here, let us know—we often work on custom commissions.
