About The KHUMĀR Collection
The geometric patterns on these mugs aren't just for show. I spend hours carving those deep ridges, which actually provide a better grip for your hand when you are holding a cold, condensation-covered drink. It is a bit of 'jugaad', a functional design choice that makes your weekend drink that much easier to hold.

The KHUMĀR collection is my tribute to the uncomplicated, joyous gatherings I grew up with. Inspired by the clinking glasses and laughter of army parties, I wanted to create pieces that ground us in those moments of connection. Whether you are hosting a weekend hangout or a quiet dinner, these pieces are built to be part of the story.
Form Meets Function
I craft each piece using high-fired, non-porous stoneware, ensuring they are not only beautiful but durable enough for the dishwasher and microwave.

The Crafting Process
Every ridge and pattern is hand-carved, not molded. I use a technique that involves specific pressure and clay moisture levels to achieve that sharp, clean geometric look. It is a slow, meditative process, but it creates a tactile experience that you can feel every time you pick up a mug. Because I fire these at 1220 degrees Celsius, they are fully vitrified, making them completely food-safe and ready for a lifetime of use.
