About Festive & Seasonal Collections
Making these seasonal pieces is slow work, even when the holiday rush kicks in. I hand-carve details like snowflakes or assemble gingerbread houses one by one, which means these drops are limited. If you see something that captures the festive mood for your table, it is best to grab it early as once a batch is gone, it does not always come back the same way.
My seasonal collections are where I get to play with the magic of the holidays. Unlike my regular utility line, these pieces are often a bit more whimsical, think deep red glazes, gold-accented snowflake motifs, and hand-built gingerbread house luminaries that glow when you put a tea light inside.
Everything you see here is born from the same kiln as my everyday stoneware, but with a festive twist. I use techniques like slip-trailing for those delicate white designs on the gingerbread houses, or hand-carving specific seasonal icons into coasters and plates. Because each item is wheel-thrown or hand-built in my Indiranagar studio, no two pieces are identical. When you bring these into your home, you are not just buying holiday decor, you are getting a piece that has been held, carved, and fired with intention.
Common Questions
Are these dishwasher safe? Most festive stoneware is, but for pieces with delicate relief work or intricate hand-painted details, I always recommend hand-washing to keep them looking fresh year after year.
Can I commission a custom set? Definitely. If you have a specific holiday theme or want a personalized ornament set for gifting, get in touch early. I need about 3-5 weeks to handle the clay's drying and firing cycle properly.
Local Pickup? Since I am based in Indiranagar, you are always welcome to drop by the studio to pick up your orders and skip the shipping.
