Our Creative Philosophy and Team
We are a community-centric art space in Indiranagar. Here, we build environments for growth, unlearning, and finding your creative voice through movement and theatre.
This graphic explains our core purpose. We are an expressive art space designed to bring people together to learn new skills and build a supportive community.
Why does this work matter? This image outlines the key outcomes of our workshops, from fostering a sense of community and purpose to helping individuals become more true to themselves.
This graphic details our approach to theatre and improv. We focus on using theatrical techniques to help students reflect on life, develop sensitivity, and understand multiple points of view.
This text shares the vision of our founder, Sahiba Singh. Her work is centered on the belief that art should be accessible to all and that everyone is an artist, given the right space to explore their creativity.
Meet one of our experienced facilitators, Avinashi Singh. With a career spanning over 30 years in theatre, she brings a wealth of knowledge and award-winning expertise to our team and workshops.
About this collection
We do not believe in competition or grading. Whether you are attending a movement session or a theatre workshop, our approach prioritizes authentic self-expression over performance. We invite you to step into our Indiranagar studio not as a student chasing perfection, but as a person ready to explore their own potential in a safe, supportive group.
Our Approach to Art and Connection
At Flux, we see art as a powerful tool for change. Founded by Sahiba, our studio was built on the belief that everyone is an artist if given the right space to explore. We focus on the 'why'—connection, longevity, and finding joy in movement—rather than just the mechanics of a skill.
Our philosophy is rooted in what we call 'no-judgement growth.' Whether you are here for a corporate team-building session or a weekend theatre class, our methodology combines physical movement, improv games, and creative play to help you reconnect with your body and voice. We focus on somatic sensations, core fortification, and the joy of spontaneous expression.
The Team Behind the Magic
Our programs are led by experienced artists who share a dedication to community building. Sahiba’s vision anchors all our work, ensuring every session—from contemporary dance to aerial yoga—remains focused on the individual’s journey. We are proud to have mentors like Avinashi Singh, a seasoned theatre professional with over 30 years of experience, whose guidance helps our students navigate the complexities of character building, voice modulation, and emotional depth.
Why Our Community Works
We moved away from the rigidity of traditional classes because we know that real connection happens when people feel safe. By blending theatre techniques with natural fitness practices, we help participants lower their defenses, foster empathy, and engage in genuine collaboration. Our Indiranagar studio is a physical manifestation of this—a warm, open-plan space designed to facilitate interaction, reflection, and the quiet revolution that begins from within.
Flux School of Arts
I started this space because the world is too fast and often demands that we fit into boxes. Here at Flux, we simply hold space for you to show up, move, and reconnect with your own voice.
