About Kids' Muay Thai Classes
What I Want Kids to Get Out of Muay Thai
Muay Thai isn’t just about throwing kicks and punches. I see it as a way for kids to handle whatever life throws at them. When training starts to feel tough, that's when real growth happens. I want every kid to leave class with a bit more confidence for both the ring and real life.
How the Classes Work
Each session is 65 minutes, split into three parts:
- Warm-Up (15 mins): We get moving with running, jumping jacks, and basic strength moves. It’s all about building stamina and shaking off the day.
- Muay Thai Skills (40 mins): Here’s where most of the action happens. Kids learn the basics of youth Muay Thai training with shadowboxing, pads, and heavy bags. They pick up proper form and start getting a feel for the art.
- Core & Cool-Down (10 mins): We end with sit-ups and core work. It helps with balance and keeps them injury-free.
What Kids Actually Take Home
I want them to get more than just martial arts for confidence. Yes, they’ll pick up beginner Muay Thai for kids, but they also learn to focus, stick with things, and respect everyone around them. Fitness, self-defense, discipline through Muay Thai - it’s all part of the deal.
Some days will be tough. Not every kid finds it easy. But if they keep showing up, they’ll surprise themselves.
