Our "Nature Appreciation via Art" workshop is back! Join us on Saturdays to immerse yourself in a day filled with the magic of art and nature, guided by artist and author Kanika Gahlaut.

Unleash your creativity with clay. Our Clay Glam workshop teaches the fundamentals of hand-building techniques like pinching and coiling. All materials are provided, and you can take your beautiful creations home.

Another poster for our popular nature and art workshop. It's a wonderful way to spend a Saturday morning, connecting with your creative side in a peaceful farm setting.

A fun way to spend the weekend is by getting creative. Our workshops offer a chance to appreciate nature through art and get your hands messy with clay.

About this collection

These sessions happen in an open-air rustic shed at our Chhatarpur farm, not a climate-controlled studio. You will be working directly with the mitti (soil) while surrounded by the actual crops you see in our gallery, so expect a bit of dust and a lot of fresh air while you create.

Our approach to art is simple: learning by doing. We do not believe in strict academic formats. Instead, we host hands-on sessions where the environment itself plays a part in your process.

What to Expect

Whether you are joining our 'Nature Appreciation via Art' sessions or our 'Clay Glam' pottery classes, you are here to get messy and observant.

  • Clay & Pottery: We focus on the fundamentals of hand-building techniques like pinching and coiling. You do not need previous experience to create something functional. We provide all the clay and tools, and you take home what you make.
  • Nature Art: Guided by artists like Kanika Gahlaut, these workshops are about capturing the farm's landscape on canvas. We encourage you to look at the trees, the soil, and the light differently.

The Setting

All workshops take place at Amarkanan Farm in Chhatarpur. This is a working farm, so the setup is rustic. We use communal worktables in our semi-open bamboo structures. It is a space designed to help you slow down. We provide basic tea and coffee to keep the energy up, but the main focus remains on your craft and the peaceful surroundings. These sessions are open to all age groups, making them a great way to spend a Saturday morning if you are looking to escape the city noise for a few hours.

We believe creativity shouldn't be confined to a classroom. We turned our farm into a space where you can disconnect from the city rush and reconnect with your hands, whether that means molding clay or capturing the greenery on canvas.
