About this collection
At our Chhatarpur farm, we don't just talk about nature; we get our hands dirty in the mitti. Your child won't just learn about vegetables from a book; they will step out, harvest basil and spinach, knead the dough, and watch their own personal pizza crisp up in a wood-fired oven. It is a sensory experience that turns food from a grocery item into a life lesson they can taste.
Beyond the Classroom
In a world dominated by screens, finding a space where kids can reconnect with the earth is vital. We designed these sessions to bridge that gap. Whether it is our "Little Yogis" sessions where children learn balance and focus under the open sky, or the "Little Chefs" workshops, every activity is rooted in intentional play rather than passive observation.
What to Expect
- The Approach: We don't believe in kitabi gyan (bookish knowledge). Everything here is hands-on. If we are talking about microgreens, your child is planting them. If we are discussing dough, they are kneading it.
- The Setting: Our Amarkanan Farm in Chhatarpur features semi-open rustic sheds and open lawns, ensuring kids stay connected to the environment regardless of the weather.
- Educational Value: Beyond the fun, kids learn responsibility through caring for plants and improve their concentration through guided yoga. It is about building a connection with the source of their food.
- Logistics: Most sessions are designed for children aged 8 and up. We provide all the necessary materials—from yoga mats to pizza peels—so you just need to bring your family and a sense of curiosity.
Why Harvest-to-Plate Matters
Kids often think food magically appears in the kitchen. When they walk through the beds, pick their own salad greens, and see the ingredients transformed into a meal, it builds a deep sense of respect for the environment. It is not just about the pizza; it is about understanding the cycle of life that puts food on their table every day.
