About this collection

When you join us for a meal, you are not just sitting down to eat. You usually start with a guided walk through our fields to pick your own salad greens and herbs. You see the soil, the plants, and the farmers who grew them, so when that course hits your table, you know exactly where it came from.

A Different Kind of Dinner

Most restaurant meals are a mystery. You order, you eat, you leave. At our Amarkanan farm in Chhatarpur, we flip that model. Our farm-to-table dining is about transparency and community. We don't have a static menu because we only cook with what is ready to be harvested that day.

What to Expect

Our feasts range from traditional regional thalis to six-course seasonal dinners. If it is mulberry season, you might find fresh berry sorbets on your plate. If the tomatoes are overflowing, expect heirloom tomato salads and basil-heavy pestos. It is vegetarian, it is often vegan, and it is entirely free of chemicals.

The Setting

We host these dinners in open-air bamboo structures or under the stars. We use long communal tables because we believe the conversation is as important as the food. You will often find yourself dining next to a fellow nature enthusiast or a home gardener, sharing stories while the crickets chirp in the background. It is not quiet, white-tablecloth fine dining. It is rustic, loud, and genuine.
