Throwback to 2016 at Farm 8 in Ayanagar, where it all began. This is where the seeds of Edible Routes were planted, and our mission to promote organic farming took root.
Our founder, Kapil Mandawewala, who started Edible Routes with a vision to make farming a service and empower communities to grow their own food sustainably.
We helped create one of India's most breathtaking rooftop gardens at RAAS Devigarh. This project is a testament to our mission of blending beauty, heritage, and sustainability.

When you visit us at our Amarkanan farm in Chhatarpur, you aren't just a guest, you are part of the team that waters, harvests, and keeps this ecosystem alive.
Our Story: From Seed to Movement
Edible Routes started in 2016, not as a business, but as a small group of dreamers at Farm 8 in Ayanagar. We were tired of city life making us forget what fresh food actually tastes like. Our first bhindi harvest was the moment everything clicked. We realized you don't need a massive farm to grow your own food, just a few pots and the guts to get messy.
Why We Do It: No 'Kitabi Gyan'
We don't believe in kitabi gyan (bookish knowledge). We believe in learning by doing. Whether it is setting up a rooftop garden in a Delhi apartment or hosting a weekend workshop, our goal is the same: to show you that a sunny window or a small balcony is all you need to start your journey back to nature. We want to take the intimidation out of gardening.

Today, we manage multiple farmlets in Gurgaon and Noida, host pizza workshops for kids, and run farm-to-table dining experiences. Our farm in Chhatarpur is a habitat for birds, a home for our resident cats, and a meeting ground for anyone who wants to trade screen time for garden time. When you walk through our gates, you are entering a space that is plastic-free, chemical-free, and intentionally slower-paced. Come for the harvest, stay for the peace.
