Family Picnics and Educational Farm Tours in Sohna
Escape the city noise and let your kids experience the soil. Our Sohna farm offers a full day of tractor rides, organic plucking, and authentic village-style meals.
Our family picnics are designed for pure fun and relaxation. Enjoy a day filled with sunshine, games, fresh food, and activities like feeding our friendly farm animals. It's a wonderful escape for all ages.
We are pleased to invite schools and educational institutions for an excursion to our farmlands. It is an invaluable opportunity for students to learn about organic farming, pluck their own vegetables, and experience nature firsthand.
When you visit, you will meet the local farmers who are the backbone of our operations. They are always happy to share their knowledge about sustainable agriculture and the traditional farming methods we use.
We believe in showing the real story of farming. This includes the hard work, dedication, and quiet moments that go into growing the healthy, organic food that reaches your table.
About Family Picnics & Educational Tours
We keep our group sizes small on purpose so you are not fighting crowds or waiting in long lines. You get actual tractor rides, hands-on time in our soil, and a meal cooked in earthen pots on a wood fire. This is not a manicured resort, but a working organic farm where you might get messy.
A Day at the Farm
Unlike city play zones, this is a working organic farm in Sohna. When you come here, you are stepping into a real food ecosystem. We start with a guided tour of our fields where you can see exactly how we manage crops without synthetic pesticides or chemicals.
What You Will Actually Do
You will spend time in the soil, plucking seasonal vegetables like tomatoes or radishes depending on the crop cycle. We have tractor rides, a mud bath pool for the kids, and traditional games like Gulli Danda. If you want to try pottery or learn about vermicomposting, our agri-experts are on the field to guide you. It is hands-on and meant to be a bit messy. Whether you are looking for an educational school trip where students learn about seed-to-harvest cycles or a weekend family getaway to escape the Gurugram city life, we offer a space to slow down.
Our Farm-to-Table Meals
Food here is simple and hearty. We cook everything in earthen pots on wood-fired stoves. You will get traditional probiotics like fresh buttermilk or Kanji, seasonal vegetable curries, and freshly made Bajra or wheat rotis with white butter. There is no fancy plating, just real village-style food served under the shade of trees.
Logistics and Booking
We host small groups to ensure everyone gets a personalized experience. Because we prepare food based on fresh harvests and group size, walk-ins are difficult to accommodate. Please reach out to check availability for the date you have in mind. If you are planning a school excursion or a large family gathering, let us know in advance so we can prepare the activities accordingly. Remember to bring comfortable clothing that you do not mind getting a little dirt on.
