Creative Art Workshops for Kids
A space for children to disconnect from screens and reconnect with their own imagination through mindful painting and playful movement.
Watch as a child carefully chooses her colors, completely focused on her painting. These moments of quiet concentration and hands-on creativity are at the heart of my art and mindfulness workshops.
A vibrant abstract painting created during one of our sessions. Each brushstroke tells a story, and I love seeing the pride on a child's face when they see what they've made.
This collage captures the essence of finding stillness through creativity. The top image shows participants engrossed in their artwork during a workshop, a practice that helps quiet the mind and connect with the self.
A fun and colorful illustration that captures the spirit of my "MaDFun" workshops, where we blend yoga, color mixing, and pure creative joy.
This poster from our Easter Special event highlights the two core elements of our workshops: Yoga and Colour Mixing. We often create themed sessions around holidays to add an extra layer of fun.
An announcement for one of our past workshops, detailing the time, location, and the promise that all art supplies are included. Just bring your energy.
About Creative Expression Through Art
It is not about teaching them to paint perfectly or making art that looks like a masterpiece. My focus is on letting them get their hands messy and letting go of expectations. When a child picks up a brush without worrying about the result, they enter a state of natural mindfulness that is rare in today’s busy world.
A Screen-Free Space for Children
In my workshops held at the C28 Pushpanjali Farms studio in Samalkha, we focus on the process rather than the outcome. Kids today are often overstimulated, so I offer them a two-hour window to just be. We start with 45 minutes of playful yoga and storytelling to ground their energy, followed by 75 minutes of art where they can explore color mixing and creative expression.
What to Expect
- No Gadgets: We maintain a strictly digital-detox environment.
- All Supplies Provided: From acrylic paints and brushes to aprons, I provide everything. Just bring your child's energy.
- Takeaways: Every child goes home with their own finished canvas and a curated goodie bag.
- Mindfulness Anchors: We teach them to use brush strokes as a form of meditation, helping them regulate their own focus and calm.
The Venue
My studio is a glass-walled space in Pushpanjali Farms that uses natural light to create a warm, inviting atmosphere. Because I keep the batch sizes small, between 8 and 12 children, I can provide the individual attention each child needs to feel comfortable expressing themselves. Whether your child is quiet or full of energy, they have a place here.
