Pottery Classes for Kids and Families in Delhi
A creative, hands-on space for kids to explore clay and families to bond. Whether you visit my Pitampura studio or book a private session for your group, I guide every step of the journey.
This poster details one of my pottery workshops designed specifically for kids. I cover everything from hand building to an introduction to the wheel in a fun, easy to understand way.
Here is an announcement for another kids' workshop, showing a child engrossed in hand building alongside a shot of wheel pottery. I provide all materials and expert guidance for a complete creative experience.
It was a pleasure to have actor Rohit Saraf and his family join me for a workshop. It shows that pottery is a wonderful activity for families to connect and create together.
I regularly conduct workshops in schools like Springdales, bringing the joy of pottery to young students. It's a fantastic way to introduce children to a tactile art form that builds confidence.
A young potter proudly shows off the collection of Christmas ornaments she made. My kids' workshops are designed to be playful and give them the freedom to bring their imagination to life.
About Fun for Kids & Families
When you bring your kids here, they are not just watching a demo. They get their hands directly into the clay for a full hour of sculpting. I supply all the aprons, tools, and clay needed, and we focus on the process of creating rather than just the final result, so kids leave feeling proud of what they built.
Why Pottery is Great for Kids and Families
Pottery is more than just an art form. It is a tactile experience that encourages patience and focus, helping children disconnect from screens and engage with the physical world. I have found that when children have the freedom to mold clay into whatever shape they imagine, it builds confidence and provides a genuine sense of accomplishment.
What to Expect in Our Workshops
Our family and kids' sessions are designed to be playful. We cover the fundamentals of hand-building, where children can create anything from animal figurines to decorative ornaments. For older kids and parents, I introduce the pottery wheel, which is always a highlight.
We keep the environment welcoming and non-competitive. You do not need any prior experience to join. I manage all the mess, providing aprons and tools, so you can focus entirely on the fun.
Flexibility in Location and Format
We host these sessions in a few ways:
- In-Studio: Visit our rooftop studio in Pitampura, Delhi. It is a quiet, natural space perfect for weekend family outings.
- Off-Site: If you have a school event, a birthday party, or a community gathering, we can bring the entire setup to your location. We handle the transport of clay, tools, and the cleanup afterward.
Firing and Keepsakes
For those who want to keep their creations, we offer options for professional firing. We perform bisque and glaze firing in our studio to ensure your pieces are durable and food-safe. This means your family can take home a piece of functional art that will last for years, rather than just raw clay that has to be recycled.
