Kids' Pottery Workshops in Gurugram
We believe in the joy of getting your hands messy. Our pottery workshops for children are all about building, playing, and creating functional art without the pressure of complex machinery.
From a lump of clay to a fishy friend. This video shows our students having a blast making their very own stoneware pen holders, a fun and functional project from one of our kids' ceramic workshops.
Organization meets art in this fun project. Our young artists learn slab-building techniques to construct their own personalized clay brush holders, complete with carved details and textures.
Every artist needs a palette. In this ceramic camp, kids design and create their own ceramic art palettes from scratch, learning to shape and sculpt clay into a tool they can use for future painting projects.
We make advanced techniques accessible for kids. Here, students learn the satisfying process of sgraffito, scratching their own creative designs into painted clay to make beautiful, personalized trinket trays.
The final magic happens with glazing. This video shows the last day of a ceramics camp, where kids learn how to apply glazes to their creations before we fire them in the kiln to reveal the final, vibrant colors.
A glimpse into the creative energy of our studio. This video montage shows kids engaged in various activities, from painting to clay work, with our instructors providing hands-on guidance and support.
Our Clay Play workshops are a hit. This collage shows the variety of projects and the fun atmosphere of our 2-day and 4-day ceramic workshops for children and teens aged 4 to 16.
About Kids' Pottery Adventures
We leave the potter's wheel stress at the door. Our workshops focus entirely on hand-building techniques like pinch pots and slab work, so your child can get straight to the fun part of shaping their own animal pen holders or art palettes without the frustration of centering clay.
When kids enter our studio, the goal is simple: getting comfortable with clay through tactile play. We believe that for children aged 4 to 16, building by hand is much more rewarding than struggling with a wheel. It encourages patience and fine motor skills while allowing their imagination to run wild.
What the 5-Day Camp Covers
Our structured ceramic camps turn a simple lump of clay into finished art. Each day has a purpose:
- Day 1-3 (Construction): Kids learn slab-building and pinching to form functional items like pen holders, trinket trays, or art palettes. We guide them through the construction, teaching them how to join pieces and add texture.
- Day 4 (Decoration): Here, we explore surface decoration. Kids can try sgraffito, where they scratch designs into painted clay, or simply add textures that tell a story.
- Day 5 (The Final Touch): Glazing day. We teach them how to apply underglazes to add color to their creations.
After the camp ends, we take over the technical heavy lifting. Your child’s creations go through two stages of kiln firing—bisque and glaze—to make them durable and ready to use. It takes about two to three weeks for the firing cycle, but the result is a piece of art they can keep, gift, or use for their own future projects.
